Magic Loop Baby Hat Knitting Pattern – Fun Knitting in the Round
I have become obsessed with magic loop knitting. I only learned of it a couple years ago. And it is the best way to knit in the round in my opinion. And this magic loop baby hat knitting pattern is going to make you addicted too.
There are lots of beautiful baby hat knitting patterns, but very few actually talk about knitting them in magic loop. They still encourage double pointed needles or circular needles. Now I have to tell you that there is not a thing wrong with either of those options. I have knit using them for years and years. But Magic Loop is just more fun! So I do hope you’ll try magic loop with this free magic loop baby hat knitting pattern, but if you are just in love with any other way to knit in the round, then go ahead and use that, just make sure to enjoy this pattern. Have fun!
Simple But Very Beautiful Baby Hat knitting Pattern
This pattern only uses basic stitches but it is a beautiful variation to multiple different other patterns. All of them are beautiful, but this pattern is easy to follow and would be a great take along project because there are no confusing or complex parts.
And remember preemie hats are quick to complete so knit several of them and gift them to your nearby hospital with a preemie unit. The nurses are always so grateful for their babies to have the the little head warmers.
Make this pattern with a soft acrylic baby yarn that is washable. If you use a soft wool blend baby yarn you will probably need to block the hat when complete. But don’t use a wool and then wash it because you’ll end up with a felted hat instead of knit.
The pattern is cute in a solid color or a stripe, our choice. some of each. Just enjoy the process. Magic Loop baby hat knitting pattern for free with the hope you will become a magic loop knitter!
